Permit to Work (PTW)

Our client are seeking an experienced Permit to Work Lead for their flagship project of a large-scale green steel plant in northern Sweden. This facility will integrate green hydrogen production, green iron processing, and green steel manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of proven experience in PTW management and/or health and safety roles within industrial construction projects, preferably in steel mills, petrochemical plants, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of leading a PTW system on large-scale greenfield or brownfield construction projects.
• Experience in working under the Swedish Work Environment Act (Arbetsmiljölagen), specifically in BAS-P/ BAS-U roles, is highly preferred.
• Experience working in high-risk, high-consequence environments with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk management principles, and PTW systems.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to assess complex safety hazards and provide practical, effective solutions.
• Proficiency in safety software and tools (e.g., permit tracking systems, risk assessment software, etc.).
• Fluency in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Swedish) is a plus.
