Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Service Specialist to provide expert service and maintenance on a variety of VFDs in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and/or Energy sectors.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with VFD models such as Siemens S120, G150, 180 GH180, ABB, Loher, Danfoss, Schneider, and other industry-standard brands. The specialist will perform pre-commissioning, Commissioning ,diagnostic, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities on these VFDs to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Commissioning: Installation and commissioning of VFD systems (Siemens, ABB, Danfoss, Schneider, etc.) on-site for industrial applications in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors.
- Service and Maintenance: Perform routine service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of VFD systems, including wiring, parameter setup, and firmware updates.
- Diagnostic & Troubleshooting: Utilize specialized tools and software (e.g., STARTER, MCT10, Drive Composer) to diagnose and resolve faults and performance issues with VFDs and associated systems.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support for clients, ensuring the smooth operation of VFDs and offering guidance on system optimization.
- Software and Firmware Updates: Perform software upgrades, configure parameters, and ensure firmware updates are implemented according to manufacturer standards.
