Position Overview
As an Offshore Logistics Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations for offshore renewable energy projects. You will manage vessel and personnel logistics, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to project schedules and safety regulations. This role includes both offshore and onshore assignments, with a 2-week-on/2-week-off rotational schedule applicable for offshore work.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee offshore logistics operations, including vessel coordination, personnel transfers, and equipment movements.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop logistics strategies that align with project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards for offshore logistics activities.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of offshore logistics, resolving issues and ensuring seamless coordination among stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement and allocation of vessels, equipment, and resources to support offshore activities.
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding offshore logistics.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across all logistics operations.
- Ensure documentation and records related to offshore logistics activities are accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in logistics management within the renewable energy, offshore wind, or maritime industries.
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, offshore safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work offshore in a rotational schedule and manage onshore logistics as required.
- Familiarity with offshore HSE standards and certifications is highly desirable.
