Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CQV Engineer to support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in pharmaceutical construction projects. The role involves ensuring that all systems, facilities, and equipment in new or upgraded pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities meet regulatory standards and operate according to design specifications. The CQV Engineer will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, compliant facilities ready for GMP operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commissioning and qualification of cleanrooms, HVAC systems, and pharmaceutical-grade utilities (e.g., WFI, compressed air).
  • Familiarity with risk-based validation approaches.
  • Hands-on experience supporting regulatory audits during facility construction and commissioning.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in CQV activities within pharmaceutical construction or related industries.
    • Experience working on large-scale construction projects, such as greenfield or brownfield pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of GMP regulations, construction practices, and engineering systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in technical reviews of construction deliverables, including P&IDs, URS, and equipment specifications.
  • Skills:

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a construction project environment.
    • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with construction management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • ISPE Baseline Guide Certification or similar.
    • Lean Six Sigma or QRM experience.
