Position Overview
As a Commissioning Supervisor, you will oversee commissioning activities for renewable energy systems, ensuring all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and functioning according to project specifications. This role involves both offshore and onshore assignments, with a 2-week-on/2-week-off rotational schedule applicable for offshore work. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of commissioning schedules and procedures in collaboration with project managers and contractors.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies during all commissioning activities.
- Provide technical leadership to commissioning teams, resolving issues and facilitating smooth operations.
- Review and validate commissioning documentation, including test results and performance reports.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing project challenges.
- Ensure a seamless handover of systems to operations teams upon successful commissioning.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in commissioning within the renewable energy, offshore wind, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, particularly in energy infrastructure.
- Familiarity with offshore safety protocols, certifications, and standards.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work offshore in a rotational schedule and flexibility for onshore assignments as required.
