Commissioning Manager - Data Centre Project - Long contract, Immediate start!
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager with a strong background in data centre projects to oversee and manage the commissioning process from inception to completion of a data centre project in France.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning mechanical, electrical, and control systems within mission-critical environments, ensuring that all systems are fully operational and meet project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a commissioning strategy.
- Oversee all commissioning activities, including planning, scheduling, execution, and documentation.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure all commissioning requirements are met.
- Manage and lead commissioning engineers and subcontractors to execute commissioning plans efficiently.
- Conduct site inspections, system testing, and troubleshooting to verify system functionality.
- Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, BMS, fire suppression, and backup power systems.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to during commissioning activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience, with a few years in data centres or mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, electrical distribution, HVAC, and control systems.
- Experience with Tier-rated data centres and industry standards.
- Proven ability to lead commissioning teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and commissioning software/tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- EU passport holder.
- Excellent communication skills in English, and ideally some French.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
