About the Role


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Onshore Wind Service Technician with specific expertise in Nordex wind turbine systems to join our dynamic team in Finland. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines, contributing to a greener future through renewable energy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Repair: Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Nordex wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues efficiently.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements during all operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, inspections, and parts usage for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including site managers and other technicians, to optimize turbine operations and meet project goals.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for on-call support as part of a rotational schedule to address urgent technical issues.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on advancements in Nordex technology and mentor junior team members as needed.

Qualifications & Skills


Essential:

  • Proven experience working on Nordex wind turbines (N-series and/or Delta platforms preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in wind turbine maintenance.
  • Valid GWO (Global Wind Organization) certifications, including First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, and Working at Heights.
  • Fluency in English.
  • EU work authorization and a valid driver's license.
