Role Overview
As an EC&I Project Engineer, you will bring your expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems to deliver high-quality outcomes for diverse projects, particularly within the Water Industry. From concept to completion, you will lead projects, manage installations, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation systems for water-related projects.
  • Oversee MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Assist in the development and review of engineering designs.
  • Manage installation and commissioning activities to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, attend regular meetings, and lead discussions to drive project success.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation.


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control & Automation systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and related technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with electrical system installations, MCCs (Motor Control Centers), and control panels.
  • Proven experience in project engineering or a similar role.
  • Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities and address technical challenges.
  • Experience in the clean and wastewater industry (advantageous but not essential).


Additional Requirements

  • Effective collaboration within an integrated team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Flexibility to work across various locations (site, office, and remote).
  • Availability to attend meetings based on project demands.
  • Capacity to interpret and act on technical data and information.


Qualifications

  • Essential: An Engineering Degree or Higher National Certificate (HNC), depending on experience.
