EarthStream Global are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Supervisor to lead and oversee I&C activities during a nuclear outage project starting in January. This role requires a strong background in nuclear environments, a deep understanding of I&C systems, and proven leadership in outage or plant maintenance scenarios.
As the I&C Supervisor, you will manage a team of technicians, coordinate outage activities, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of I&C Technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement schedules for calibration, maintenance, and testing of instrumentation and control systems during the outage.
- Technical Oversight: Provide expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of I&C systems, including analog and digital components.
- Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to nuclear safety regulations, site protocols, and quality assurance standards.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and address issues with I&C systems in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Review and validate work reports, calibration records, and compliance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project management, engineers, and other supervisors to ensure smooth coordination of all outage activities.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience as an I&C Supervisor or senior-level I&C Technician on nuclear projects, including outages or major maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and field devices.
- Familiarity with nuclear safety standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of calibration, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Relevant certifications or licenses.
