GE Maintenance Team Leader
Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader - Onshore Wind Projects (Germany, Netherlands, Finland)

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Team Leaders to oversee and execute maintenance activities for GE onshore wind turbines, including models 1.x, 2.3, 3.x, and Cypress. The successful candidates will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and maximized turbine uptime. This role involves leading a team of technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our wind project sites in Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on GE wind turbines (1.x, 2.3, 3.x, Cypress) according to established protocols.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure turbine functionality and optimal performance.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software for advanced troubleshooting.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of wind turbine technicians, providing guidance on technical and safety aspects.
Organize and assign daily tasks to team members based on priorities and maintenance schedules.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety briefings and audits, fostering a culture of safety among team members.
Operational Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, site leads, and external stakeholders to align on maintenance schedules and priorities.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and report to regional supervisors.
Inventory & Tools Management:
Monitor and manage the inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring readiness for maintenance activities.
Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment of critical components.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement best practices to enhance turbine reliability and reduce downtime.
Participate in technical training and development programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in wind turbine technologies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of hands-on experience in preventive maintenance on GE wind turbine models (1.x, 2.3, 3.x, Cypress).
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
Proficiency in diagnostic software and tools specific to GE turbines.
Leadership Abilities:
Proven experience leading teams in a technical or maintenance environment.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
Certifications & Training:
GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certifications (e.g., First Aid, Working at Heights, Fire Awareness).
Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications preferred.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of German, Dutch, or Finnish is an advantage.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel frequently across project sites in Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland.
