About the Role:
EarthStream Global are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our team for an upcoming nuclear outage project starting in January. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of electrical tasks during the project and demands a professional with prior experience in nuclear environments.
As an Electrical Technician, you will work alongside a dedicated team of specialists to perform maintenance, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in compliance with strict safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment during the nuclear outage.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to ensure operational readiness of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Adhere to all nuclear safety and security protocols, ensuring compliance with NRC and site-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to address project needs and challenges.
- Ensure proper documentation of completed work and maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and test results.
- Operate tools and equipment safely, following industry best practices and site-specific procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical work within a nuclear project environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with nuclear safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and wear protective equipment as required.
- Relevant electrical certifications and training.
