Earthstream are proud to be recruiting an Electronics Engineer for a world leading provider of lighting products & solutions based in Wixom, MI

Job Role: Electronics Engineer

Location: Duluth, GA

Salary: $90,000 pa benefits

As an Electronics Engineer your remit will include:

This position will play an integral role in new electronic module development, design processes, and quality/reliability implementation. Works closely with a cross-functional team to ensure electronics design is seamlessly integrated with LED modules targeted for luminaire systems. Responsible for appropriately securing Intellectual Property for the business while concurrently developing technical relationships with key suppliers.

Job Responsibilities: - Lead integration of electronics within an evolving module portfolio - Create industry-leading, scalable electronic designs with flexible features at cost-appropriate levels - Develop, grow, and sustain key technical partnerships with electronic assembly suppliers - Oversight of both design-build and build-to-print relationships - Integrate innovative electronic controls and communication into LED systems - Participate in developing a robust module design process, including quality & reliability objectives

What you will bring to the position:

Minimum Requirements: - Minimum of BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering - Analog/digital hardware design of electronic assemblies, especially power supplies - Experience in cross-functional teams developing new products - Proficiency in developing specifications for engineering validation testing

Additional Requirements: - Proficiency with electronic design automation (EDA) tools for schematic and printed circuit design - Experience with embedded control architecture including firmware design and validation - Working knowledge of electronic regulatory standards, especially UL/CSA - Familiarity with DFM (design for manufacturability) and DFSS (design for six sigma)
