Company Overview:
Earthstream is recruiting an Offshore Control Systems Engineer for a long-term contract, based on the gulf of Mexico.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced engineer with strong expertise in Yokogawa CentumVP and/or Prosafe to support offshore control system operations and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently and within a team on multiple assignments.
  • Provide technical and project execution consulting to Project Leads.
  • Identify technical opportunities and justify control system improvements.
  • Design, implement, and test control and safety functions for Yokogawa CentumVP and/or Prosafe
  • Lead or support field surveys, data collection, and automation function design.
  • Oversee technical aspects of complex projects, including manpower allocation, compliance, and project delivery schedules.
  • Assign project tasks, monitor progress, and mentor team members as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of project data, drawings, and documentation.
  • Maintain Functional Safety System (FSM) requirements as part of Safety System Engineering.
  • Prepare simulations, test scenarios, and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Develop Safety Validation Plans (SVP) and contribute to Safety Requirement Specification (SRS) discussions.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, operator training, and tuning of advanced control loops.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Yokogawa CentumVP and/or Prosafe
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and testing control and safety functions.
  • Ability to lead large or complex projects with advanced automation technologies.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing Functional Safety System (FSM) requirements.
  • Experience with ESD & FGS Systems and working in offshore environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to train operators.
