Key Responsibilities
As the Erection & Commissioning Bid Manager, you will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating site-related topics within the bid team.
- Collaborate with the Pre-Delivery Manager to define optimal setups for project execution.
- Develop comprehensive estimates based on contractual data, scope of work, and financial requirements.
- Analyze technical specifications, drawings, bills of material, and historical data to accurately calculate project costs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimations in alignment with the work breakdown structure and code of accounts.
- Negotiate with customers, subcontractors, and consortium partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Work with a mentor to enhance your skills and participate in a high-performance program.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Minimum GCSE level 4 or above, including Maths and English.
- Experience: Proven experience working on substation or HVDC construction sites, ideally in a leading capacity. Advanced understanding of construction and commissioning concepts is essential.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, planning, and detail-oriented capabilities.
- Teamwork: A collaborative team player with intercultural sensitivity and a commitment to quality and results.
- Proven Track Record: Ability to meet deadlines and handle complex project requirements effectively.
