Control Room Operator - Combined Cycle Power Plant

EarthStream Global are seeking a highly skilled Control Room Operator with experience in the startup, operation, and maintenance of a combined cycle power plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working with gas and steam turbines, balance of plant systems, and auxiliary equipment. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of power plant processes, safety protocols, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• The personnel assigned to him/her are fully acquainted with the site-specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly. Deviations from the agreed goals are reported and that corrective measures are initiated by arrangement, and support of the Commissioning Lead.
• Any kind of operation of equipment is performed in a safe and timely manner
• Organize and supervise the safe operation of the plant (site rules, safety regulations, shift plan, shift log, etc.) from system turnover from erection until PAC by arrangement.
• Manage, perform, coordinate and monitor the operation of the specified systems by arrangement with the Commissioning Team.
• Oversees readings and makes observations to detect any equipment problems and takes actions to correct those problems
• Perform operation per the specifications and engineering documents, considering the safety instructions, environmental protection measures and local regulations.
• Responsible for safe operation of equipment within his/her scope of work.
• Provide, on request, technical experience feedback to project engineering departments during debriefing meeting(s) to be organized by the project.
• Train the customer staff in operation and maintenance as instructed by the Commissioning Manager. Support and train other Operators assigned to him/her.
• Manage, supervise and co-ordinate personnel assigned to him/her.
• Maintaining a logbook according the instructions by the Commissioning Manager.
• Keep a diary to record daily work, occurrences, problems, special information, etc. plus a list of pending items.
