Our role in the project

This client relationship started in mid-2012 on a contingent supply basis for technical staff positions. EarthStream initiated contact in relation to known subsurface recruitment needs, and very quickly demonstrated a superior level of candidate identification, screening and attraction than the other members of the established supplier panel.

What we achieved

During the 2013 calendar year, EarthStream were responsible for identifying and securing all but 2 agency hires, across multiple technical groups; GeoScience, Portfolio & Planning and Subsurface Engineering as well as winning and successfully completing multiple ‘C’ and ‘Group’ level executive and technical search mandates.

Being an independent, our client’s biggest issue when it came to hiring was the lag time in identifying a need and the identified candidate commencing employment, coupled with a need to balance recruitment spend on a more even basis.

EarthStream presented an exclusive supply solution that allowed our client to manage recruitment spend on a monthly basis, whilst allowing them to reap the rewards of true talent pipe-lining, skills pooling and effective market mapping on an on-going basis. The net result of this exclusive relationship is reduced overall recruitment spend whilst enjoying greatly improved turn-around times and talent bench-marking. As our client’s sole recruitment partner, we are in a much stronger position to add true value in helping our client stay ahead of talent issues most of their competitors face on a daily basis.
